Im September 2024 geben Sebastian Six und ich im Studio Gross in Tokyo einen Einblick in unsere vor Ort entstandenen Projekte und Recherchen.
Giggling, gargling, gurgling, squealing with laughter, the performer conquers the streets of the pulsating city of Tokyo. “Joyful Aspects“ explores the artist’s immediate surroundings in an acoustic and humorous way. Carried by the continuous laughter that fills the streets of the metropolis. The Work offers a personal and reflective perspective on Tokyo and the different ways of seeing joy in everyday life. Laurien Bachmann (*1992 in Gmünd/Carinthia) and Sebastian Six (*1980 in Vöcklabruck) are visual artists currently based in Linz/Austria. In their collaborative work they often deal with different topographies and acoustic spaces.
Die Ausstellung ist Teil der kontinuierlichen Partnerschaft zwischen der Bundesrepublik Österreich und dem Österreichischen Kulturforum Tokyo.
